    Revit 2018.3 project issues

We have one project that isn't a very big one but it seems to hang up(wheel at mouse cursor spins) after almost every command. any suggestions on how to trouble shoot this?

Note the project is on C4R, if I pull it down and save as I don't have the spinning wheel.

I have no experience with C4R but you could make a new central file which you have cleaned up first, and see if this helps.

Sounds like a network problem w/ C4R access.

Are there links to file server? The constant spinning wheel can be a symptom of high network latency. Could also consider clearing the cache, unless this happens with everyone.

Revit links or cad links or both? I don't think we can link cad from C4R.

Sure you can. Someone can link to a cad file on your actual network somewhere, and make it drag ass. Or they can use desktop connector... Which may or may not do the same.

Sent from my Phablet. Please excuse typos... and bad ideas.

Actually it can be any file: keynote text file, Excel (if you're using Sticky), etc. If it takes an exceptionally longer time to load the model, it is probably a linked file (nested link?) on a file server.

If this is the case, the solution is to use Desktop Connector. https://info.bim360.autodesk.com/desktop-connector (requires 18.3.1 or higher).
