    Grid point wall accuracy

    Hello all,

I don't know very well how I can explain it, maybe the image will help.

I want each time that I am creating a wall, to finish exactly at the point that I stop. Usually the grid point of wall continues further, so when I create the material schedule the length is not totally correctly.

So every time I need to disallow join and align the wall in the distance that I need.

    Thank you!

Joining walls (and other stuff) is default behaviour in revit which unfortunately can't be changed. There are plenty of apps and dynamo nodes to help you get what you want though.

Thank you, maybe it's time to start learn a little bit for the dynamo..

Try using the Disallow option while sketching walls (see image).

Funny, but I can’t say I’ve ever noticed that! There are a few walls I always want to disallow join by default. If this is as close I get, so be it!
