Hide the 'Cut material pattern' of terrain

    Hello all,

In the section Views the existing toposurface hide the building. I would like to make invisible the 'Section cut material' of the toposurface in order to have only the line (see image: the bleu arrow).

    As far:
    1. I tried to give <No pattern> in the Cut Pattern of the toposurface material.
    2. I went: Override Graphics in View > and made invisible the cut patterns.

    But nothing changed..

    Thank you in advance!
    PS

    H: House
Yellow lines: The pattern of existing terrain
Blue arrow: The line that I would like to keep in section views

Should just disappear by unchecking the Visible checkbox for the Topography Cut Patterns in the View overrides or View Template settings. Is the toposurface in the same file as the house? If it's a link, did you override the display of the link file to use different settings than the Host View tab?

If your section view depth range is less than 26mm or so, it will go anyway. Never known why.

          Thank you for your answers!

The toposurface is linked to the building project.

When I unckeck the Visibility checkbox for 'the Topography Cut patters' the terrain still hide the building.
Is it possible to keep just the red line which indicate the upper point of the terrain and hide with some way the pattern in order to be visible the building which exists behind the toposurface?

The display settinhgs for the Link Terrain are by default in Host View.

          Thank you!

Did you also try setting transparency to 100%?

Without seeing all of your exact settings it's gonna be hit and miss at best. Maybe upload some more images of all your view settings or a stripped out project file.

Make a linked view in the toposurface surface file to show it how you want [without the section hatch, etc., as per the advice above] and set the building model view to 'by linked view' for the toposurface Revit link ?

a screenshot of the actual section view and the visibility overrides of the toposurface would be helpful
