Revit Dimension with Centerline Symbol Won't Recognize the Center Line of Reveals

Can anyone tell me why when you have a center line symbol assigned to a dimension type it does not recognize the center line of a reveal? I have checked the profile associated with the reveal and it is set to center. Confused I am.

Make your own, more flexible, reveal using a line-based family and you can dimension to the center ref plane of the family.
