Hey All,
I made a mistake in one of the files and any help fixing that would be really appreciated!!:coffee:
I am working on a project that have multiple files collaborating and linked together. All files are uploaded to the collaboration cloud (Autodesk360).
I linked a .dwg in one of the Revit files and this is when I didn’t thought things through!!!
The .dwg didn't land in the right location. I right clicked the .dwg and pressed acquire coordinates thinking that by doing that I would acquire the coordinates of the Revit file to the .dwg and it would be positioned in the right location.
Instead, the whole model got misplaced. To quickly fix it as there was a deadline coming I copied the "N/S E/W Elev Angle to True North" information from one of the other Revit files in the Project Base Point.
That gave me the right levels and was looking fairly ok but now I noticed that the Spot Coordinates had a very small discrepancy from the previous version of the file.
Any Ideas on how I can revert back to the right location without having to revert the whole model back in time?
Is there a reverse engineering way of acquiring back the coordinates in the file?
Thank you for all your Help!
The forum looks awesome!!
