    Truss Family

    Hello all,

I want to create a truss family (see attachment), as I don't have a lot of experience to this, is there someone that can give me some ideas how I can adjust the webs with the truss lenght?

I want each time that I change the Truss length to adapt respectively the webs.

    Thank you in advance!

Try first a default Truss family there a lot off them. Analyze them and come back if it is stil not clear. If you have good knowledge of array's it's a big help.

      Hello,
I already did that, this is why I am asking your help.

In the default family (see attachment), I saw that there a three parameters for the webs but I cannot find with which the 'LargeurMaxPanneau' parameter is connected.

      Thank you in advance!

The parameter ''LargeurMaxPanneau' is not represented physically in the truss model, it is used to create an input for a calculated parameter 'Nombrepanneaux'. See the image below:

          Thank you for your answer!

I tried to create the same parameters in order to see if it will work but I have the following error (see Image 1).
After I created a Type parameter_Truss Length_1 and I got the second error (see image 2).

          Any ideas are appreciated.

          Thank you in advance!
