I have a hosted light family which I would like to make parametric. Basically, it is "hung" from the ceiling with cables. The cables are currently not adjustable, and the host is based on the light itself, and the cables are a fixed length. I would like to make the cables parametric, so I can adjust the length of them based on where they hang off the ceiling, but I am having difficulty. In the family editor, the cables are created from a series of extrusions. How could I make it so these are able to be adjusted according to the slope of the ceiling?
