Copy and Paste To a Revit Model from a Rotated Linked Model

    Hello,

I have a bit of a problem. I need to bring in piping and ducting from a linked revit model into the one I am working on. I know I can copy each element individually and paste "Aligned to Same Place" but that is taking far to long as I have over 2500 individual elements. The linked model I need to copy from was rotated to suit the building alignment. I have tried opening the link (detached from central) in the same revit session and copying the elements and pasting aligned to level, and aligned to current view. The issue is, everything comes in rotated. When I rotate the elements to suit, it will either not allow me to as there are to many errors. I have also tried rotating the linked model view to suit the model I am working in, and it still comes in rotated. The last thing I have tried was rotating the entire project to suit, but it comes up with errors saying certain items can't be rotated and won't allow me.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to the easiest way to do this, or am I stuck copying and pasting individual items?

    Thanks in advance.
