    Avoid Rotating Grid Symbol

    Hi All,

    Need help. I am not sure if this question have been ask before. But I have typed the question onto google and this forum. All reading and tutorial I have watched does not help me.

    I want to know how to stop my grid symbols from rotating.




    Please Help....

    Create another type of grid with the text rotated.

      Already did that...but than the Elevation view rotates...

        There's a "hack" (trick) where you do away with the "magic line" and use an underscored label for the upper part / portion of the grid reference.

          I wondered if that would work with grid heads. I think that the "hack" for a section head was posted by Cellersick a couple of years ago. All of mine are done that way now but since I don't use non standard letters/numbers in my grid heads I've no reason to go there. I think that I'll build one just for fun though, maybe for future use
          I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!

              Sorry rufaidahtalib, Michael & Dave are right, I was wrong, sorry about spreading the misinformation - the elevation/section head trick (which I confused) doesn't appear to work with grids.

                In fact it has to be a single label with a break between the parameters in order to work properly. Just like Snowy and Dave you would have to drop the line though...

                EDIT: Thought that copying the horizontal line from the section head marker family template would work but it didn't...
