    Toposurface elevation

    Hello all,

I want to create the toposurface in Revit. So I designed my building in elevation 0.0 m.
I had the toposurface in .dwg file. The contour lines had the correct real elevation (exp. 618m) and the rest of the drawing was in elevation 0.0.

I linked the .dwg file in Revit in the first floor (level 0) . Looking the images you will notice that the toposurface goes higher from the building (in the 618m).

The only solution that I can find in order to match the building and the toposurface is to move the second one. But with this way the values of the contours lines changes.

I think that this is a situation that everyone face as we start to design the project in 0.0 and after we need to adjust it according the toposurface. So is there someone can tell me what he/she do in this case?

    Thank you

    My method:

    Link in the dwg file.
Create the topo from the link.
In elevation or section view move the topo down to suit the required floor level.
Then under the manage tab, "position," "relocate project," moved the project up the same amount as in the previous step.
Use shared coordinates when tagging contours etc.

You mean in the type properties of the contour lines in the Elevation Base > to have Survey Point ?

      Thank you!

        Yes, that's it.

        Glad to help.
