visible / invisble point in section view

    Hi,
I had a problem when modelling floors, but I am quite new in the world of Revit modelling, so this might be a simple question.
I wanted to move some points of a floor, and made a small section box for covering the area I'd need to work on. Is it possible to switch off those points in section view, which are out of the section view box? See images attached.
    Thanks for your help!

I don't think you're going to be able to make the points beyond your section box go away. In section, when you select the floor, you are currently seeing ALL the subelement points; I get that in section this can be confusing for the area that you're trying to work with.

Maybe, you can cut the floor into smaller segments so you don't have so many points showing in your section?

Short answer is no you can not, but...I would suggest you shouldn't need to.
Try working with a 3D view open alongside your section and plan.
