    Converting Links to Groups

    I have inherited a project with apartment types as Links. As we move from council submission to documentation stage, I think we will change the Links to Groups.

    I can Bind a Link to make a Group, but how do I swap all the other Link instances to this new Group? Is the procedure to remove all the Links and then Copy my Group around the model? Is there a way to automate this please? I fear not.

    I’m sure Dynamo could do it... but I thought if you bound a link, emphasis on the if, it would convert all instance of the link to groups... no?

        I've actually seen it done in a Dynamo script where typical commercial "Spaces" are modeled then linked in, then kept the detailing when bounded as there where Views with documentation. It expedited the design process where every day not in operation is a loss in revenue. Pieces of the puzzles they always encounter on the select type properties they acquire. The initial stage (SD) they would do "By Linked View", then when layout of spaces was finalized, then the Bounding of all the spaces as Links. The only live content was the Shell.
