BIM Tools and Software used for light calculations

Hello dear Revit Forum,

I have been trying to find out the current best software / tool / Addon for light calculations based on the revit 3D Volume model. I know the existence of Relux for Revit, Elumtools, and DIALux but I would like to know if there are other software out there which are used for light calculations according to eurocode.

how do you get light fixtures to glow?

Yes there is probably a very easy answer to this but I cant find anything regarding making the light fixture, for example a recessed can light, to "glow"...
