I am working on a project where we have 5 campus buildings; a separate meodel has been created for each building and linked into a "central" model file, with the sheet set located here.
My question is this: Is it more efficient to set up the views in each model and then when I link each model in to use "linked views"?
And if this is the case, do I apply my view templates in each view (in their respective individual models)?
Or is there a better/more efficient way to do it in the "central" model file?
I did a "test" and applied all of my view templates in one of the individual models...and the file size doubled? This confuses me as I would imagine the file size would shrink...or is the increased file size basically the "implementation" of the view templates? It would be really helpful for a Revit moderator or super-user to weigh in on this for me.
Thanks in advance
