Handrail Support family - adjust with handrail?

Is it possible to get the support family for a handrail to adjust as the handrail:

    a) slopes down? b) slopes up? c) stays flat?

You could try using reference lines in the family, with an angular dimension. Load into project. Adjust angles of supports.
Is the support a Generic Model? Perhaps if it was a Baluster family it could adjust to the slope of the railing?

    This might help: http://revitcat.blogspot.com/2017/10...-8-moving.html

But I was a good little Revit boy and used the proper Railing Support family template.

It looks to me like they did not add the functionality to the family template that you get with a baluster family?

When in railing sketch mode, you'll have to split the railing line where the bracket is being located, then select the segment & on the Options Bar select from the "Slope" Options, one will say "Flat". Maybe once you split it at the Bracket location it may then relocate it. In such case I'd just duplicate the railing to only show the brackets, then remove them from the original type.
