    Missing Sink

I have done everything I can think of and tried searching for answers. I am working on my underground waste system. I have two locations with the same toilet and sink. I can not get the sink to show up on my plan view. I have attached a screenshot of the bathroom, you can see the domestic, and waste pipes that connect to the sink but no sink. It is a downloaded family but the confusing thing is that the toilet came from the same source and it works fine. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you try going into the family and seeing if the 3D geometry is marked to show in the views/resolution that you want? I usually find the manufacturer plumbing fixtures to be the jankiest in how they are modelled.

I did and as far as I can tell it is set to show in all views.

So I did just find that if I change the elevation of the sink to under 1'6" it will show up on my plan view. My View range is set above the height that the sink is supposed to be at. I don't have any view templates applied.

Plumbing Fixtures dont show if they are under the Cut Plane of a view, even in Mechanical views.
A really stupid feature made for architects.
Means that if you have plumbing connections up high or in a ceiling you need to set the cut plane higher (So doors wont show in the walls...)
Or you can put extra reference lines in the families so they extend down through the cut plane, but then you might have problems if someone places the same family on the floor and it appears on the level below.

Not sure I get what you mean here, I use plumbing fixture category families all the time that are well below (900) my cut plane (12-1500) and they show up just fine?

Thank you, That was my problem. I had it set low to not show other things in my model. I ended up hiding those elements with filters.
