    Enscape Issues

    Hi All,
I have been using the trial version of Enscape for the past week and a half, and have recently decided to purchase it.
A few times already, Enscape crashes at the 5% loading mark, even for very simple models of a single wall.
Does anyone have prior experience with this issue? I'm really impressed visually by enscape but I can't risk it not opening during an important meeting, or not working for days on end.
    Thanks!

Hi Noam_r, that depends entirely on your PC set up, I mean, Motherboard, Processor, and most important RAM and Video Graphics Card, I've been using Enscape for several moths and I haven't been experienced crashes or similar issues, so I guess maybe your PC set up is not enough to run the APP!, but without having more information is just an speculation , can you give us more info?, regards

FWIW My experience is the same as Andres - Enscape seems very stable - but it is quite demanding on the hardware:

        Hi,
        thanks for answering.
My hardware is more than adequate, Nvidia 1080 and plenty of RAM.
The strange thing is, most days it works perfectly well, and then once in a while completely fails to load.
I've sent their support a message, hoping to hear back from them.
        thanks!

I've noted there's a "sweet spot" when Enscape truly takes over your computer during export that ANY command attempt, ANYWHERE, will bring even the beefiest of machines to it's knees - but it's not a given marker, almost as if it's a moving target based on the nugget of data it's chewing on - you may find it's not 5% on another model, it might happen sooner, or (more likely) later.

Either way, I've taken to just going for some "fresh air" after hitting export these days - there's nothing more frustating that making yourself more impatient from an action of your own impatience.

Maybe it's my new Workstation Specialists PC having the combined P4000 for Windows 10/Revit and the GTX 1080Ti just for Enscape that helps in my setup but rendering out even at 4K resolution only takes seconds - but then my models are probably small by others standards?

It's very strange.. I have zero performance issues, running massive projects smoothly, then suddenly every few hours/days Enscape craps out on me, and won't start even with a test scene of a single wall. I have been trying to reach their support for 2 days and no response yet.. Really disappointing.

                Patience will serve you well.

Have you visited and posted on their forum? They are a lot more active there. They are also exceptionally helpful... but to pre-empt their questions:

Which Revit version are you running?
Which Enscape version are you running?
                What is "plenty" of RAM?
                What is your CPU?
                What is your HD?
Are your GPU drivers up to date?
What screen resolution are you working at?
Is your OS up to date?
Are you working locally or off-network?
What is the size of the model? Is it workshared? Are there links? If so, how many, and what size?
Have you any non-native format content in the model?
                Are you using
Are there any missing material textures?
Are there any particularly large custom textures?
Are you using a lot of RPC content?
What Enscape settings are you using? Do you experience the same drop-outs with decreased quality?
Are you running any other applications at the same time?

                etc.
