Additionally, if anyone has done an in-depth comparison between the Model Review tool and the Model Checker tool, I'd be interested in knowing a quick rundown.

Initially we are only looking at "drafting" type presentation standards, not data standards, but we may go that route a we develop.

As I dig into the Model Review tool, I'm finding it would take a dozen checks to make sure the dimension style in place matches the "standard" because you have to check every type parameter of dimensions separately.

I was hoping that it would behave more like a *.DWS file and check against the entire style. Maybe Model Checker manages this more efficiently...

There might be some classes in the AU archives on it.

I'm seeing the biggest difference between the two is the organization of the output data and the stacking of checks. Review is single checks only and Checker is multiple checks in a single check (more filters).

I'd like to see more exact tools though. I can check a text note leader's left or right attachment (top, middle, or bottom) but I don't want to check the attachment if there is no leader present as this would yield a false positive. I don't see any data that allows me to query the simple presence of a straight leader. I can query the presence of an arc leader and I do use that as a separate check.

These tools seem more valuable to checking model elements than drafting standards.

Maybe Dynamo is the answer.........
