Is there a method for adding a calculated value to a foundation or floor tag, or spot elevation tag, that calculates the over excavation depth"? For example, we need to indicate the elevation that the excavator needs to dig beneath the footing's bottom elevation, if the bottom of the footing is at 10' elevation, and we need to excavate a foot lower, 9' elevation, is there a way to calculate this in the tag?

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but Steve Stafford had a post about adding calculated values to tag families. I think it's only available in Revit 2017 and later, though.
