    Scale,Detail Level, and Visual style buttons

    Hi Everyone,

    So I'm new to Revit (about 6 months) and I'm having a problem. So I'm not sure what I did but the Scale, Detail Level, and Visual style buttons won't work anymore. When I click on them they do nothing. it's also the same in the Properties browser. I'm not sure where to look.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I'm guessing that you have a view template set for the view you are using. Look up the help file for that.

      So I tried that and that wasn't it. I'm stuck I wish I knew what I did to make it this way. I might just try an uninstall/reinstall

        So I have no idea what happened but everything works again. So thanks for the help and reply Chris.

          Sure it is - have a look at your view properties like below: Change to "None"

            Hi Alex,
            It does say none. Thanks.
            So I'm back at work and it has to do with my second monitor. when I drag revit to my laptop it works fine but when I bring it to my other monitor it doesn't work. So now I just have to figure out why.
