    Revit Design to Fabrication tool

Has anyone used the "Design to Fabrication" tool inside Revit to convert generic Revit duct to Fabrication parts? I am using Revit 2018 and it doesn't seem to be working. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

    How are your button mappings?

yep, i'm working on it. Its a bit tedious at the moment because its such a large project and it was the engineering team that ran the generic duct in revit, so I have to use their families

I discovered an issue with it not filling rediltee the way my button mappings were set up, so that is a known issue. I had it set to use a lateral tap (hole cut in the duct and the tap screwed to the duct body) but Revit insisted on using an actual full-bodied tap fitting (duct barrel body and tap all-in-one).

My high efficiency taps were never "connected" to the main either. Never resolved that issue. May be in the ITM somewhere...

Yes TFuller, I noticed that it had some major issues with Duct with prefabbed holes. My solution was to create the objects in CADmep and then import the .MAJ file. Once I had one in the model I was able to edit and use in multiple locations.
