Property Perimeter Wall with sloped Toposurface

    Hello Everyone,

What is the best way to make a perimeter wall on a site with a sloped toposurface
The wall should slope with the terrain.

Should I use edit profile? or should I create a In-Place Family? and How should I go about it

    Thanks in advance!

Some may disagree, but the way I think I would do this is to make a very thin floor that has the same shape as your topo and then just attach your wall to the floor. Would be MUCH easier (in my opinion) than editing the profile and creating and In-Place Family.

But, what happens in reality with the wall? Straight segments on top and bottom, stepped footings? Does it matter in this case, or is it just for renderings?

It really is just for rendering for the time being, till we decide how to develop the idea. The purpose is to show that the property is enclosed by a 10 ft high perimeter wall

When just for rendering, I´d personally just model the wall, and then use "Edit Profile" and add some aprox. splines offseted 10 ft from the topo.

If it is just for rendering then just draw the wall on top of the Toposurface and edit the profile. This will give you any shape.
If you want a cleaner look between the topo and the wall intersection you can drop a pad first( foundation) and then place walls on top and edit the profile. Hope this helps.
