    Family Parameter in Schedule

    Hi,

I'm having trouble with importing a parameter into a Furniture Schedule.
The specific family can be found here.

In a family like the one above how can a parameter like Height be added to a schedule with the correct value for each instance.

I have added instances of the bookshelf Family and changed the height value for each one.
Initially the Height parameter did not show up when creating a furniture schedule.
Then I linked the parameters with a Shared parameter.
The issue is that with a shared parameter I get the same value displayed for each instance of the family inside the schedule.

I hope this makes sense. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

Double check that Height is a shared parameter and double check it is the same parameter in the schedule.
Also check that the height parameter is set to Instance

Its very possible to have two different parameters with the same name in Revit.
The simplest way to find that out is to create a new Schedule of the Category - in your case, Furniture.
If you see two "Height" parameters in the "Available fields" column, they will not report the same information
