    Render in Revit - Plug in

    Hello all,

    The quality that I have when I make a render in Revit isn't very good, I don't know exactry way, maybe because of the processor.
    What are you do with the rendering? Do you use any plug in?

    I never render in Revit. Autodesk nailed rendering for 3D with Maya and pairing it with mental ray, but that is dramatic lighting. I found the only way I can render in Revit is by using tons of lights. Way more than by an object basis. I personally export to Sketchup and use Podium.

      I'd recommend Enscape as the best bang for the buck, you can even pay monthly. If you want more Entourage & ease of creating walk-throughs, then Lumion would be the next step up, but more pricier like 3x more than Enscape. Enscape you would need to have the lighting properly materialized in the lighting families vs Lumion where you can specify a lighting control. Each have Pro's & Con's. Choose one that best fits your situation.

        You need an extremely powerful computer to run Lumion. Last I checked for work, we were looking at a 2300$ PC just to be able to use Lumion.

        What kind of rendering are you looking for?

          Hello,

          I download a free trial of Escape. For now I am interesting to render the facade of a building.
          When I go in the Escape tab 'Create View' I cannot see anything.
          Also when I start the Escape ( This is only for navigation?) still I cannot see anything..

          If there is someone that use this plug in, I would like to tell me if/how I can create render images.
          The video that I found are only for the navigation.
