Material tag

Hi, to tag materials of elements there are several options.
If we use a/the material tag and the element (beam) is under a floor the material tag finds the material of the floor, not the beam.

How to deal with this?
Is there a way to force the material tag to find the underlaying elements?

use the tag all option and choose the beam tag

Cannot material tag a nested family

I cannot add a material tag to a nested family. Is this possible?

I can apply category and multi tags to my nested families, but not a material...
