    Revit Models Compare

Hi all, what's the best way to compare models sent by architect time to time?
I tried to use revit 2017 extension tool model compare for a 3 storey medium size office building, not sure if it's because of too many elements in models to compare, revit keep running but no progress for 10min. so I gave up...
or I should use naviswork for the model compare? then have to transfer revit file to .nwc?
can anyone give me a good idea of how people normally deal with it? thanks in advance.

Check out an app called Metamorphosis. It takes a snapshot of your project then when you get a new one you can run it's Compare feature.
I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!

Perhaps it's just "us", or me insisting that "we" do, but "we" tell our consultants what has changed when we share our models.

To quote the late great Bob Hoskins,
      "It's good to talk."
Welcome to the forum Shelly!

Bluebeam PDF compare (overlay) is a nice tool to highlight floor plan changes.

Thank you guys, I just realized this revit forum account doesn't send notification emails when the posts got replied
I have just posted another one, and come to check out this one.

I will have a look at Metamorphosis, thanks Dave Jones

I think you are right, it's good to talk, I thought we have to deal with model compare as part of coordination, and it's maybe a easy process. not really like that.

I believe they do if you subscribe to them, but then when they get hijacked and derail off topic your phone melts.
