Architecrual Model Displaying Crooked Walls, Windows etc - HELP

    HELP

I have opened an IFC from an architect (architect uses ArchiCAD) and the walls, windows etc aren't displaying correctly, they look crooked and at varying angles. I am trying to figure out if it is an issue my end (Revit Design Suite user) or if it is an export setting from the architect.

any help or any resolutions would be appreciated.

    UPDATE:

I believe the route of the display error is due to the base point location used by the architect (ArchiCAD) being different to that used by myself (Revit). I have to manually reposition the architects model to a base point more suited for Revit and this moving of the model seems to result in a display issue. If anyone is experiencing this issue I would suggest asking the architect etc to create a copied model with an altered base point to issue for use in MEP.

Better, leave the model be, and adjust the IFC coordinates.
Better still, check out the latest version of the 'alternate' IFC exporter - I believe it has some new support for ALL TEH COORDINATES!

Ive had some success using the archicad connector addin for Revit as well as the Alternate IFC exporter/importer:
