    Multi story rooms?

Hello - I wondered if there was a way to do this . . . I am setting up conceptual plans for a multi-story apartment building, and have basic rooms that are tied to schedules that show all the SF data. I have several apartments that are two-story spaces - is there a way for the room tag/schedule to show the room as the entire 2-story SF? For instance, if the room is 20x50 (1000 SF) the tag would read 2000 SF. I can't just put another room in their, either, because then the schedules won't read correctly. Any work arounds for this?
    Thanks!

I have never heard of anyone reporting square foot area as twice what the actual floor area is, when the volume/space is double the normal height. If it's a 2-story space, there's only one floor at the bottom, and therefore only 1,000 SF in the 20x50 example. 2,000 SF would not be correct or appropriate. Why do you want it to report this way?

Yes, I agree, it's kind of weird . . . but I need my schedules and tags to report the entire 2-Story SF. There would be a stair in these units with a floor above. These are conceptual plans, so we are using Rooms to report entire units (1 BR, 2 BR, etc.) Later we will go to spaces for this info, and rooms for the kitchens, bedrooms, etc. but it was started with rooms for the entire unit. So we need it to read, for instance: 1 Bedroom (750 SF) 2 Bedroom (1000 SF) and so on, including the entire 2-Story area that encompasses both floors.
      Hope this makes sense.

Seems to me like you should be using areas.
