    Looking for metric pipe fittings

    Hi all

Does anyone know where I can find different pipe fittings for Revit?

I've found this website of Charlotte Piping but the sizes are in Imperial and the lookup tables adjusting the fittings to sizes that not matching my pipes. I think Revit is trying to match the figures in mm. For example, if I select the pipe size to be 100mm it sees the 100 as 100 inches - because the fittings appear huge.

    Revit® Drawings

PS: Does Revit have any built-in content of pipe fittings? I cannot find anything. I have chosen Australian content during installation.

OK. I think I have might have answered myself in some way. It just crossed my head that I can change the Plumbing units to Imperial. I'll give it a go.

      Hi,
Guidelines to find libraries can be found here:https://knowledge.autodesk.com/searc...e-Library.html
And here are libraries from Autodesk to download: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/suppo...6-content.html

      Maybe this will help you.

The pipe fittings that are provided with Revit should be in the C:\Program Data\RVT <version>\Libraries folder.

Also, since all Revit really cares about when drawing piping is the nominal diameter, you should be able to just change the first column (and the nominal diameter column(s) if they exist) in the lookup table to be your metric equivalents. All the other dimensions in the lookup table should not need to be touched since they are the 'real world' sizes and Revit can easily convert those.

You might like to have a look at the Wavin website. Not affiliated with them in any way, in fact, found their UFH tech support a PITA, but for drainage they claim to have pipe families suitable for BIM Level 2. https://myportal.wavin.co.uk/bim-centre/downloads
