    designing a garage

    Hi,
My name is Adam. I am new to this forum. I am trying to design a garage using revit 2017 and all the materials and items are in metric units. When I try to make a concrete slab, i see 400mm and 600mm. I want these to be in inches and the same when I used cinder block and the wood framing and so on. Can anyone recomend the right programe to use or a template or even familys to download?

    Thanks for any help,
    Adam

did you start this Revit project yourself? If so you used the Metric template and should have used an Imperial template (there are various types) but the big difference is the units format. If you're not to far along you could start over with the correct template. Otherwise you're going to have to change your project units using Manage/Project Units. All of your families in your project will still be in metric units though.

Oh, and welcome to the forum!
I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!
