I'm also trying to get a family in our template and I et the following error:

The shared parameter "00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000" cannot be added with name "00_isq_hoogte_min_2" and type "Length" because it conflicts with the existing name "REX.Content.Identity.RebarHooks" and type "Text".

Strange thing is that I can't find the "00_isq_hoogte_min_2" parameter in the family nor can I find the "REX.Content.Identity.RebarHooks" in our template. Even if I'd delete all parameters from the family it still gives the error. Any idea's?

    Regards Rien
The REX.Content parameter is built-in and can't be modified. I'd wager the 00_isq_hoogte_min_2 is part of the rebar system in Revit and also can't be modified, but I don't know enough about the rebar (or the translations to what I'm assuming is Dutch (?))

If you need a new GUID, I'd go here: https://www.guidgenerator.com/

I thought .rex related parameters were part of the Revit Extensions? Regardless if the extension is installed you'll be stuck working out some other parameter name and GUID to use.

You might be correct: The Building Coder: REX Content Generator I couldn't find anything about it in revitapidocs...

Steve is correct. Anything marked REX is based on those horrible Extensions. Save yourself tons of aggravation, and just never install them.

I have the same problem. I am trying to dowload families from the BIM app in Revit and am unable to load several different families. I am not sure where exactly to delete these parameters. Can somebody please post a "delete parameters for dummies" play by play preferably with images lol. I am very very new to Revit.
