    Space Tag "Draw Order"

Hi everyone, quick question here...and I've googled this a number of times over the past two weeks.

My space tag is always shown in the foreground covering my pipes. The pipes are native Revit and my floor plan is in a Mechanical discipline.

I've checked the space tag family and there's no setting to push the text into the .

Any help would be great. I have a bunch of mechanically high traffic areas with lots of little spaces and it's getting to be a headache.

    Thanks!

Wouldnt pushing it backwards obsure it making it unreadable? Have you tried setting the label to transparent?

I checked the space tag family and the label's text properties. It's set to transparent. But that only means the text field is transparent. The actual text itself is not transparent. The actual text can be set to halftone in the project's annotation visibility graphics.

Pushing the space tag into the is preferable for me because the important information is the routing of the piping, dimensions and system tags, and other piping related annotation. If the foremen and consultants can get a reasonable glimpse of what the room name is, that's enough. There are architectural drawings they can refer to to get the exact room name/number. As minor as this issue seems, it's really annoying because I want the drawing to be as comprehensive and self explanatory as possible to limit the need to cross reference other drawings.

So what you want is really a hollow or outline font. The Googles brings up literally thousands of free outline fonts but YMMV when plotting or sharing your models with others if they don't have the same fonts installed.

All annotation including space tags are always in the foreground. Setting them as transparent with a thin font such as Swis721 LtCnBt makes them less impactful.
