    Navis Clash Report Format

I typically export clash reports as html (tabular) format, but is there an advantage to the other options? (XML, Text)

Depends if you want to do anything with them subsequent.

I'm also a .html kinda guy, as I care little for fussing over formatting - which is just as well since I've had it explained to me that the inline CSS used in the Navis .html is terribly bad practice, and painful to counter.

I understand the XML is the better of the formats to use, for better "reach" but that's another language I'm pre-school at.

Does anyone create a revit 'Column Grid Marker Model' link for export to .nwc? Do these markers have any intelligence? See attached image

I have families that are both straight, and curved, that have "3d grid markers" that are similar to my 3d room tags, where they have the grid data written in alternating sides so they can be ready from any direction in Navis.

But honestly, I don't use them much. I just export a flat dwg of just the grids, and use that. More lightweight, which makes it easier on everyone else.

Sent from my Phablet. Please excuse typos... and bad ideas.
