Why, when I'm allowed to nest a DC inside of a profile family will that DC not show up when I use that profile family to create a wall reveal. In short I am creating a V groove for EIFS, I nest a detail component with a filled region representing the EIFS finish following the profile of the V groove reveal in the profile family. Why when I create the reveal in the project then cut a section detail through the reveal does the nested DC does not show up? :banghead::banghead:

Detail Component in a Profile
That’s the way it has worked as long as I remember. One also can’t tag reveals. And they get “profiled” often if silhouettes are used. These reasons together lead me to using sweep even when in reality things like joints should be reveals.
