    Cannot join geometry to stairs

I know staircases cannot be join in revit.
But in many cases i just need the geometry that "touches" the stairs to be edited in acordience with diagonal line of the stairs.
i know there are annotation solutions, or in-places custom masses, but arent they any smarter solutions?

Face or wall based generic models with voids in them.
Other then that I can not think of any other option.

We need the same option as with walls and roofs if you ask me !

      creates a thin floor
modifies the sub elements to take the shape of the bottom of the staircase
attach the walls and columns under the staircase to floor

Hi duende123, you must try with a model line, that borders the form of the stairs for attach the wall.

          Hello again
excuse, it is better to do it with a Roof by extruction, according to the form of the stairs, and attach the wall.
