    Welcome to the forum Gelink,

I used to struggle with this in the early days - you really should model the landscape, even if just using floorslabs around the building which can be modified by using the 'modify sub elements' option to create slopes and triangulation, which then show a cut line in Elevation and Section Views, however when short of time I sometimes used a Masking Region to cover up the bits you don't wish to see in the elevation - either during or after creating the Masking Region you can edit the boundary so that only the top line is say, Wide Lines and the other lines are Invisible Lines, so they don't show.

Editing the crop boundary of the View can also help but you cannot edit the View crop boundary lines like you can with a Masking Region.

Hope that makes sense and is some help.
