Revit let me add a line style to a title block family, but when I try to assign that style to a line it is not available from the list. Is there a trick to doing this?

Are you adding the new type under line styles or object styles? You need to use object styles in the family editor. -

Available: yes. Usable: Doesn't seem likely. Confusing: unnecessarily so.
After Chris enlightened me, I made the intended line style in object styles, then continued with my billable work.Comment
