so asin is the same as sin-1 and acos is cos-1? so tan would be atan? whats with the 'a'

arcsine, arccosine, and arctangent.. just different ways of annotating the same functions

arc sin, arc cosin, arc tangent. using asin/acos/atan was likely easier to code, as it's a common situation in a lot of programs.

quick question, how can i make cosine rule (angle) acos(b^2+c^2-a^2/2*b*c) compatible to revit angle formula

Are you getting a return of "improper units"? If so, the division and the block of multiplication might be prompting Revit's second-guessing autocorrect about whether you're using an appropriate (length) value, when it thinks it's seeing an area, or volume.

yeah i know what you are saying is there a soloution? cause revit thinks my formula is a length, not a angle.
