    Window Demo Glitch

My office is trying to figure out what is going on with our window family. We are using Revit 2017 and on one wall the windows are being demoed out and they then offset themselves into the space and another wall with the same qualities don't do that. Has anyone had this issue happen to them or can think of what is going on?

does it do the same thing if you create a new file and try it?

can you post a file with the wall & window?

So I figured it out when you asked that question. What was happening was the windows were hosting to a furring wall that was added in another phase that wasn't visible in that demo plan. I am new to this office as of about 2 months ago so I wasn't here for the beginning of this project, but it seems like the windows changed hosts because of joining of the furring wall and the exterior wall and possibly a weird thing that someone missed. Also the window family for some reason had a locked offset of 9 1/4" so that could have offset it far enough in to change hosts and thus float in the space. The other walls that have that window do not have a new furring wall on the interior side of them. We have figured it out finally. Thank you for asking those simple questions that made me start digging deeper into the model.
