    Shedules per view

    Hi All

I'm looking at quantities per view however, I can't seem to link my schedules to a view placed on a sheet. they are all on the same level and in the same area, but I just want to get the quantities of the families in the view.

    Any Ideas?

    Regards
    Nathan

Keynote Tags are the "only view-aware" scheduable elements I'm afraid. But if you've a view filter acting on elements in view, the same definition could be used in a schedule - but it still won't account for what can/cant be seen. Dangerous business anyway.

theres a dynamo node called " all elements in active view". Might be a good start.

I would suggest you probably want to do this (and BIM in general) the other way around..

Create a means of defining what objects go into what views (Based on systems, classification/assembly codes or whatever other type of parameter you need), then generate the views and schedules to show those objects only.

Forget about making 'drawings' and then having to find a work around that documents what is on them. Go straight to putting the information in your model and use a data driven way of producing the output.
