Join Geometry between Floors

Hello all,

Could you please tell me how I can join two floors in order to have a realistic results? I tried the cut tool and the join geometry but nothing change!

Angled floor? Use something different, like a roof by extrusion.

You will need to use a void family (loadable or in-place) to trim that up.
