    Isolate Elements in View.....Permanent?

Once you have selected some elements or families in a view, you can those "Isolate Elements" and then apply it "permanent" for the view...
But its just a "at this moment"-kinda permanent...
Once a new element gets created its also visible in the "Isolate Element"-view...

Isn't it possible to really isolate elements permanent...permanent?

Isolate is not 'isolate', ..it is the opposite of 'hide'. In other words 'hide the elements that are in database NOW, EXCEPT..'.
That is the reason behind seeing NEW elements. I think it is fair that this logic can be discussed..

      Yes! Its called a Filter
"One must imagine Sisyphus happy." Albert Camus - "The innovator has for enemies all those who have done well under the old conditions, and lukewarm defenders in those who may do well under the new." Nicolo Machiavelli -"Things that are too complex are not useful, Things that are useful are simple." Mikhail Kalashnikov

Many people forget the power of the Selection Filter. As shown in the image, after you select the items, click the Save button under Selection and name it. Now you can apply this Filter to any view or view template. I use this often for certain applications.

These are saved under Filters so it's always there to reuse.
