    view reference issue

i have a large building footprint so i created 6 dependent views, use matchlines, add view references, etc., everything is OK except:

for each dependent view, do i have to use hide in view by element in order to hide all other "unused" view references? hope i missed something instead of Revit limitation, can anyone confirm? thanks.

edit: besides, seems no smart way to "copy & paste" view references from one level to another, kind of tedious to add each view reference again in another level

Yep....and do it before you place them on sheets....

Else your callouts will reference the first view placed on a sheet...
