LT 2017 Not visible 3D objects after copying from one project to another

I am trying to copy 3D objects from one project to another and I can not see them.
Warning appears
None of the created elements are visible in 3D View: {3D} View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings.
Any ideas?

Is there a way to control a nested family so that it is only visible in plan view? Thanks!

why does this not show in 3d?

Can someone please set me straight as to why I cannot see this in 3D?
I know it asks for pipe connection, of which I have no idea, haven't studied...
