    2017.2.2 Error

    Anyone getting this?

Got a notification this evening about an update for Revit 2017 to 2017.2.2.

    Then got this Error message:

Is that because I have Revit 2018 installed and 2018 would have updated the dll?

R2018 should have nothing to do with R2017 upgrades. If it were me I'd be brave and go rename that whatever.dll file to whatever.dll.old then try to install the patch again. Oh, and I haven't even heard about that upgrade yet...no mention in the good for nothing Adesk Desktop App...

Update Edit: I did get the R2017.2.2 notification in my AdA yesterday afternoon and just installed it without any issues.

AdA actually worked today and let me know about the update AND it installed without issue...knocking on wood...

        Lucky.

Or maybe I'm unlucky as it's just happened on a second machine. 1st was a Laptop, this is a desktop.

        I'll investigate Dave's idea later.

I got notice this morning from the Autodesk App, and am downloading now, will followup with any issues from install.

As a followup, no issue with the download or the install. Odd, perhaps there was a hiccup in the download.

I just experienced the same problem. Any resolution yet?

I found that the app had problems, where if I went to my Autodesk account login, and in my product Revit 2017 click on "downloads" go to the "updates/addins" tab and it will find the 2017.2.2 update and download from here it worked.
