Exit Signs

We have 2016 running in our office. I just went through looking and couldn't find an Exit Sign family.
I looked through Lighting and Fire Protection and found none. All I found was and Emergency Wall light which is just the "Bugeye" fixture. So as much as we invested in the program they can't even provide something that is an essential part of Electrical LightingDesign/Engineering as an EXIT LIGHT? What a rip off.

C:\Program Data\Autodesk\RVT <year>\Libraries\<library>\Specialty Equipment\Fire Protection is the default family that ships with Revit.

You may call it a light, but it's not if you really consider it (doesn't light anything in a room...), so why would it be in the lights folder? Also, it's a box, so pretty much the simplest thing to make as you may not like the sign that ADesk provided.

I found that is was in a specialty folder. I've been in the electrical design environment for a while and would never to consider an exit sign a specialty item. If anything it should've been in Life Safety. but it REVIT. enough said. Carry on.

I fear if the absence of a single item from OOTB provided content is enough to rile you, you're probably not going to get along with Revit very well.

But out of interest, which software have you been using that gave you everything you needed OOTB?
