I am working on modeling concrete foundations for a large project. Everything seems to be working ok except for the pile caps and piles. Can you suggest methods for modeling the caps and piles? All the caps are different sizes with different number of piles. Currently I have the caps as Isolated fndns and the piles as columns, but this isn't preferred because Revit wants to put the cap and the bottom of the pile (because its a column entity). I am leaning towards creating families, but I don't know a lot about how to do that.
