Is it possible to check file sizes of families within a project

    Hi everyone,

I am trying to clean out some of our models but there are lots and lots of families that have been imported over the lifespan of the project and I have no idea to the extent of these families or what sizes they are for the most part. Is there a way of pinpointing how big they are so I can purge/delete/replace them?
I did have a thought that maybe it would be possible in dynamo from reading the files and their properties, although this is more of a hopeful shot in the dark.

You can save your project as a library. This will put all the families in your project in a folder where you can then check the size of them.
If you have your files in a folder you can use Dynamo to read the file size, but I guess at that point you can do that in your file browser as well.
