    Can't see model

    Hi there,
I have a really odd situation at the moment. I have a model that I can't see in elevation.

Here is the set up. The host model is a MEP file, which has the structural model linked it. This structural file is on Its own workset.
When I am in the elevation, I can't see the structural file, when you move the mouse over the view, it will highlight the linked file, you can select it, but you can't see it. When you print preview or print the sheet with this view on, it prints as you would expect and shows up.

Also, the view is cropped and when you stretch the view boundary significantly larger than you need, the file will suddenly appear, but when you zoom out, it vanishes again!
The view does have a view template applied, however even when you remove it, the same thing happens. The linked file is by host view, no scope box associated to the crop region, no masking / filled region, view depth is OK and clip with plane is checked. The phase mapping is correct. I have tried setting the view to , coordination, architectural and structural, but it doesn't make a difference.

The model is definately there, it just won't show on the screen in this elevation.
    Has anyone seen this before?

    Try unchecking the hardware acceleration

Also, simply removing a view template the view will still have all those view settings. Easiest way to check is to place a new un-VT'd elevation/section and see if your stuff shows up.

We have seen views and view templates that get corrupted by "random electrons". You might also try adjusting the far clip settings (e.g. set to no clip) and see what happens.

Quite right Elton,. I should have been more detailed. When i said removing he view template, i did adjust / change the settings an dalso applied different VT's. Still the same though. No change.

Yeah, i thought it was a corrupt view as well. We did adjust the far clip offset. didn't resolve anything though.

Ans Charles is the winner. Turning off the hardware acceleration did the trick. Worked perfectly.
So my next question is, Why?
Why is it only this one file that this happens on?
