    Randomness is too regular, why?

    Hello,

Why the hell my randomness is so regular and how could i change this?
With a random factor ? like pi or e ?

Could you please post a little project with the brick family and set-out into the ZIP file as well? So we can test?

Reason being is that the list structure usually dictates how nodes interact with them.

      Hello, RFO,
      Hello, Andreas,

Another option to do this, much easier in my opinion, is to randomize your design with the Randomizer add-in. More information in the attached PDF.

Hi, Dave, thank you for the greetings. I attended the BILT NA conference (formerly RTC), in Toronto. My class was about Randomness, so of course this question caught my attention, so I wanted to offer another alternative. Not everything is nodes and wires (Dynamo).

The images that I would like to make on the wall. There are some old tutorials in the web. they show how to transmit a RGB into a brightness valule.
But inspite of that I am unable to use it

I did two stabs back. So the script works better when the wall is not done by a pattern. It is better by an adaptive component! with an array!

                  Hello Andreas,

I would go about approaching this query as follows:

It creates true randomisation in the Facade like so:

I would do that in this way, randomizing the depth and the material, as explained in my previous message.
